This is love story based on a stupid song performed in a small , crowded and smoky club called "The Spot" . WARNING!!! :There is no fancy decoration , flashy lights and too many happy thoughts in this story.
...One upon a time there was a girl called Mari-Anna , she was living in Lulin District 10 (Notorious getto in Sofia the capital of Bulgaria) . Mari-Anna was one of the most beautiful girls in Lulin , and in the world as well. She was about 20 something years (youngest in the family) , studding in the university and working part time in one of the local supermarket as a cashier.Her family were poor , not as poor as Kenny's one but still they were living in a small apartment in not really the best Sofia's neighborhood . Her parents names were Raicho and Marijuana Georgievi - Raicho her father was about 50 something years old and like a lot of Bulgarians had problems with the alcohol , he wasn't a drunk ,he had a full time job in the factory , loved his wife and kids , and was trying to support his family in the best possible way . When Raicho were drinking rakia , he always started to talk and comment about the politics , the government and how if he had the power he would change the world .At the end of his glorious speech he usually felt asleep on the sofa. Raicho never changed the world , he just kept drinking and drinking till his end . Marijuana Georgieva was born in a small city of Koprivshtica , Bulgaria . She went to Sofia looking for a better life , but she found Raicho , who wasn't the most handsome or smart person in the world but somehow she felt in love with him , got pregnant and they got married for the rest of their life...
Mari-Anna wasn't the only child in the Gergiovev's family , she had two older brothers - Bobby and Ivan (Jonny) . Bobby was a shy guy , he never talked much , he had problems talking with unknown girls and he was single for a long time( wasn't gay though). He wanted to immigrate somewhere far far away where people would understand him , where he could find the girl of his dreams . Ivan's story was actually the sad and the dark secret of the family. He was Raicho and Marijuana's first child they loved him very much , his mother qiut the university and gave up her dreams so she can look after him . At the age of 16 Ivan committed suicide .Nobody really understood why he did this , was it because of love , anger , hate or something else . The whole family were devastated , they never talked about that too much ...
But that story is not for her family it is for Mari-Anna herself. Mari-Anna the most beautiful girl in Lulin....
One day , let's say Thursday , so one Thursday Mari-Anna were going to the university . As usual she took trolley number six and there she met Pantelei. Pantelei was a tall , blond handsome guy with blue eyes also in his twenties.He wanted to be a poet , or at least a guitar front man of a rock band .He loved to dream how one day he would be famous and popular . For now Pantelei was studying for a dentist in the university .He hated that , but his father who was a third generation dentist forced him to study that , because that was the tradition in the family and it was Pantelei's responsibility to continue this tradition . He was a bit shy but when he saw Mari-Anna , he felt in love at first sight. Pantelei went to her and whispered in her ear "Who the fuck are u?" Mari-Anna was shocked at a first , she looked at him and said - "I am Mari-Anna and who the fuck are u " "I am Pantelei and I love u so much!!!"
What happened next? I don't know , the song ends here leaving u thinking what happen with Mari-Anna and Pantelei... I guess Pantelei was slapped because happy end happens only in a fair tell and a silly song...
