Chapter Thirty : Inmigracion Law

Believe it or not Franklin County Jail even has something like library - well not exactly - just one shelf full with bibles and Spanish books , but the most importante ones were two Law bricks. The other guys were using them in jail fitness as weights , damn those were heavy . People used to say that everything is written in one big big book of life , so i decided to read what was written about us and our future in that big big law book of life ..... It didn't take long and i think I found the reason why we were in that situation

"The first general Immigration law was enacted by Congress in 1882 (Act of May 6th 1882 /22 stat. 58) It provided for a "head tax" of fifty cents per immigrant (immigration was then regulated by the Treasury Department ) and barred admission to "idiots , lunatics , convicts and persons likely to become public charges " - restrictions still on the books today..."

I guess ICE work really really hard to keep out all the idiots and lunatics , i guess they allow only natural born idiots (born and raised in USA) to reside in the land of the free and home of the brave ...
