Chapter Thirty-Eight : Instant Lunch
(The Power Of Soups)
Probably most of u guys have a basic idea that money are not really allowed in the jail . So how the economical relations are going behind bars. Pretty simple and convenient - people are using soups instead of money .Yes soups , exactly the same soups that u can u find for 16 cents in Walmart. My friend Donny used to telling us stories about how if have cookies in the jail u can get anything . Well few mounts ago that sounded like another no sense bullshit told on the lunch break , but after i saw that soup economy in action i believe in the cookie story . Long story short one soup is equal to $1 , u if want something like flip flops for the bathroom , place on the table , some kind of favour form another inmate - it is all about the soups . I think if u are good enough u can hire a lawyer with soups ...
What people are doing with all those soups - collect and cash them after they get out of the casino - not really . People in jail were real inventors - cooking ramen noodles in any possible way - i think one of the classic recipes was Noodles with Doritos - So called "The Brick " - which can be made by cooking the noodles in a plastic package with hot tap water with a broken up bag of Doritos , beef jerky and other random ingredients .It's best to wrap the whole thing in newspaper and let it cool for 10 minutes before opening it . sounds delicious , isn't it?
Well in general the food wasn't so bad - it was pretty crappy but no so bad - and there were nothing more delicious than the late night Mr. Casperson Cereal back in Franklin County Jail (chuckle) .
My black friend Rwanda managed to dip pretty fast in that soup universe - since the first day in the new jail he managed to get a everything what he needed to form his black fellas , yesterday i even saw him drinking hot chocolate . He said " It is all God's man , It is all God you have to believe " "Sure" " In soups we believe "
