Mt. Washington , New Hampshire USA , elevation 6,288ft/1,917m - Home of the World's Worst Weather.... We couldn't experience that weather , fortunately yesterday was a perfect day for some summer hiking in the White Mountains . After a short Google search , we flipped the coin and the winning route to climb the summit were - Pinkham Notch Visitor's Center - Lion's Head Trail - Mt.Washington - Crawford Path - all the way to Crawford Notch Visitor's center or said with just two words - 12 miles hike for about 10 hours - including frequent photo and pee breaks , also the mandatory at least 30 minutes lunch break required by great state of New Hampshire .
It was about 9:30 and we were ready to hit the trail - camera checked. music player checked.jug of water checked.People were stretching on the parking lot like they were preparing for climbing the Everest...Kids were running all over the place and of course the Chinese were taking a lot a lot of pictures of pointless things.
So after hour and a half hike on the pretty crowded trail we reached the Hermit's lake shelter - a great place for quick snack while enjoying the view of Tuckerman's Ravine .
It looked much more green this time of the year but don't forget that just two months ago people were skiing over there
After a short break we took the Lion's Head Trail to the summit .The trail actually starts form the lion's tail u climb it , then u have to climb a steep sections called probably Lion's ass
and u are almost there on the head from where u can get a nice view to the Wild Cat ski resort
and the Ravine itself.
It is good place to get your final rest
Also u can sacrifice a Macedonian girl form the rocks so u maybe God will stop with that fucking rain and we will get some summer days like yesterday. At least nobody will notice that is missing.
Ouh and the Chinese were there again making picture after picture
One more hour through the rocks and u are reaching the summit
Ouh and if need to crap over there - it is not really a good place - it is pretty crowded and open spaced - u either have to do it while u are in the woods or to find a really big rock to hide u
1:41PM ...
...we were on the summit - Home of the ..... read some Wikipedia...
The Mt. Washington is pretty well organized - u have a parking lot to leave your car
a train station...
and of course the food court
where u can find all your favorite hamburgers , fries ,pizza and hot dogs - but just don't forget to say the grace , before u start eating...
Picture on the summit
my third in the past 5 years ...
Well it was about 2PM and it was time to head back down through Crawford path - a nice 8 mile trail about 5-6 hours - with some very nice views and some very very friendly mosquitos and bugs...
enjoy
and while hiking don't forget to stay on the trail and keep all these wonderful flowers safe

enjoy
It was another great day in the valley - for everything else there is Mastercard and Visa
see you there
